Ukraine Relief

11 March 2022

Over the years, Horizon Education Network has built relationships with evangelical schools in many countries. Some of these partners serve in Ukraine, where war is being waged. Another partner in Moldova, a country bordering Ukraine, welcomes and serves refugees on their campus. The news reports of the crisis are difficult to watch, and the updates we receive from our partners are heartbreaking.

Because of our relationship with these schools, we want to help our brothers and sisters in their time of need. That is why we have linked with two missions, ABWE International and United World Mission (UWM), that have set up funds dedicated to providing relief to those affected by this conflict. ABWE has strategically helped Horizon to focus on theological education since our founding. Overseas Council, a ministry of UWM that focuses specifically on theological schools, has become a valuable partner.

  • ABWE International has set up the Ukraine Crisis Fund. The fund provides resources to Ukrainians, missionaries, and partners serving Ukrainian communities in a time of upheaval and unrest, compassionately sharing the gospel with hurting people. The team is serving Ukrainian refugees by meeting physical needs and sharing Christ.
  • UWM has a Ukraine Refugees Assistance fund. It focuses its relief on seminaries in the region that assist with immediate material needs. Funds will be distributed to seminary partners, some of which are also Horizon partners. UWM is waiving its fees to maximize your contribution.

Continue to pray with us for a miraculous end to this conflict that has already cost so many lives and resources. Please give to either of these funds to support those suffering so greatly.
