We finished our first draft of Designing for Online Learning. This is the final week of the first time teaching the course to a small group of students. We just received this email from one of our students this morning:

“I was reading some of the links on rubrics and told Bernice, ‘I really like the sample rubrics they shared, they’ve put together a course that doesn’t just show you how to do an online course but how to be a better educator.’ So thank you! Some of it is refresher but it is a really good refresher and a lot of it is new because my training was so long ago. But in both cases, I don’t feel like my time is being wasted. I feel like you are doing a great job of providing foundational information and yet training us to be better at what we do as mentors/teachers.”
